"ÓÐR", according to the ancient Norseman, was a spiritual and physical ecstatic state rising out of sex or combat (with no distinction). ÓÐR Mead takes it's name seriously - as a 21st Century embodiment of this ancient concept.

Mead in modern times is horribly sweet, over processed and brewed without care for ancient viking techniques. ÓÐR Mead, on the other hand, would make Bjorn Ironside himself proud. Our mission is to rise up and preserve viking mead-making methods.
